Tynemouth bridge exhibition

This is my painting from tynemouth bridge exhabtion which was an amazing experience for to do the painting that I decided to do. This painting is very close to my heart as is and experience I have been through and wanted to show people that it isnt a nice one to go through.

The painting its self as shown in this image above is a young girl between the ages of 15-18 no real age in the image, who is pregnant and crying that young girl is suppose to represent me, as I fell pregnant at the age of 16 I wanted to show the baby/babies inside the stomach to show that doesnt matter how many babies you fall pregnant with weather it be one or multiple babies, the things that get said and the opinion’s that people give can still effect the person they are saying them too.

The smaller canvas are not so nice opinions coming in to this person from the outside which is making this young girl upset and having mixed feelings about the choice that she is making.

The message that I was trying to show people with this painting is that no matter the opinion, you have to give to someone sometimes it is easier to in the nicest possible was to keep your mouth shut as the person your saying these opinion’s to can effect them physically and mentally and maybe they are already going through a hard time and that the negative opinions dont help the situation and can sometimes make things worse sometimes its easier to keep the negative opinions to yourself and just be postive even if your not happy with the situation that is happening.
