Recently over the past few months i have been things about painting my work with my hands and fingers, instead off using brushes so i decided to look at some artists who have created artwork using their hands/fingers for inspiration.
One of the artists that i have looked is an artist called Iris Scott, who creates big beautiful work using her fingers the amazing thing about her work, is that when you first look at her paintings you wouldnt think they have been painted using fingers look like they have been created using brushes.

Before she started painting with her fingers she use to paint her work with brushes like most artist do but after a while she decided to try using her fingers and have never picked up a brush since “I am not here because I went to the right art school. I am here because the art I make resonates with the child in every human being—our inherent instincts about beauty— and this resonance is amplified by the democratizing power of the Internet.” A quote from iris which is empowering and beautiful. Alot of the work she creates is off animals, landscapes and plants which she makes look even more beautiful than it already looks.
